Successful bidder responsible for a $10,000 deposit (cash, cashiers check, pre approved personal check) IMMEDIATELY following the auction at the signing of the sales contract with the balance due at closing. The escrow/closing period for this sale shall not exceed (45) days. Per diem at the rate of ($25) per day shall apply beginning on day 46, and continue through the date of closing. Zeb B Barfield Inc  is pleased to offer the  Camp Occohannock on the Bay Fundraising Auction 2024     Camp Occohannock on the Bay Camp & Retreat Center has served the Eastern Shore since 1958 by offering Christian camping and programs for children and youth. The mission of COOTB is provide opportunities where everyone is welcome, faith is strengthened, and lives are changed. We do this by offering summer camp ministry, providing space for retreats and guest groups, and partnering with churches and organizations. COOTB provides programs and facilities which make use of natural  setting of waterfront, woodland, and open spaces to help folks of all ages grow in their knowledge and love for God.  This year's annual Duck Dip will help COOTB continue their mission. Proceeds from the auction and the duck tip will be directed to facilities and programs that will enhance ministry for both retreat camps. Currently, we are adding an addition onto one of our cabins, make needed repairs to the director's home, and planning for needed updates and changes to gathering space at the camp. Through the connection of local church's, COOTB gave out over $10k in scholarship money for campers who would have been unable to attend for financial reasons.  Your participation through this timed online auction makes a difference and will enable Camp Occohannock to continue to minister and serve through Christian Camping.    This timed online auction will run from Wednesday January 10th through Saturday January 20th.
